The third YOU DAO fund-raising dinner was held at “mr willis” restaurant on Sunday 11th September, 2011.
The dinner co-incided with the Mid-Autumn Festival, and in the restaurant hung with red lanterns, a large full-moon shaped screen focused the attention of diners onto the projected images of the young migrant children, who are the living part of the You Dao projects.
 
The bountiful and delicious meal of many courses, so characteristic of “mr willis” restaurant, reflected the spirit of generosity that was so evident at the full and appreciative tables.
 
All aspects of the successful night were donated to the You Dao cause of education and scholarships for Shanghai’s migrant children.
 
More than RMB 60,000 was raised at the dinner, from the contribution of “mr willis” restaurant, the kitchen and restaurant staff, the food and wine suppliers, musician, photographer, artists and, of course, the full-house of diners, whose enjoyment was enriched by their generosity.
