This kindergarten for migrant children currently has an enrollment of 160 children but has room for a lot of expansion. You Dao has a partnership agreement with the Kindergarten and is helping to give training to the teachers and to provide books and toys for the education of the children. We also are visiting the community to try to find children who cannot attend this kindergarten for financial reasons. For these children we hope to be able to provide partial or full scholarships. The Australian Chamber of Commerce has decided to partner with You Dao and to support the Qingcun migrant community & the kindergarten through the Annual Austcham Great Australian Ball. They also want to explore what they can do to mobilise their membership to be involved in working bees and other activities associated with the kindergarten.
